My Stag Day took place on Saturday 21 July 2001.   There was a round of golf in the morning at sunny Royal Portobello.  Winners with the lowest score were Blanch and Julian.  Nearest the pin on the 2nd hole was remarkably Johnny while the longest drive on the 6th was shared with Dad (Eddie) and Julian.

I won the "highest score on a hole", with a 10 at the 6th.  Amazingly enough, my tee shot on the 1st hole which I tried so hard to smash down the fairway, was a fresh air shot :-)

The Standing Order

They made me take my clothes off and change into Winnie The Poo pyjamas. They also made me carry a teddy bear around the entire day. Tony decided we should call him Mr Belvedere. He is still with us and lives at the bottom of our bed.

Andy Pool decided to burn Mr Belvedere with his cigarette, a scar which the teddy still bears. As punishment, Pooly was made to do press ups in the middle of the Standing Order.

Rose Street

We messed about in Rose Street, stopping to merge temporarily with a Hen Night and then ended up in some dive at the West End of Rose Street. That is where the stripper arrived and performed.
